Volunteer
Divide plants, pot some up, and and nurture them for the plant sale. Help people find the right plant for their growing conditions. Bring snacks to a meeting. Pull weeds along the W&OD Trail. There are many ways to participate and help our community of gardeners grow!
There are many ways to volunteer with FCGC. Planning club activities, coordinating digs, serving on the governing board, pulling weeds, and sharing your horticultural knowledge with other members, are examples of ways you can be involved.
Project Committee
Several of the clubs committees can use help. It might be setting up the equipment or snacks for a meeting or getting the word out about the plant sale or maintaining a list of members. There is a place for you to help.

Public Service
Several of our members maintain a section of the W&OD trail. Other people work with other local organizations on different garden related issues like removing invasive plants, developing butterfly habitat or suggest your own that you can sponsor.
Support a Field Trip
Help organize a field trip like the Virginia Historic Garden tour, tour of Green Spring Garden, Meadowlark Garden, or one you come up with.
